Puppy Application
Our goal in life is to spread the joy and happiness that an English Mastiff can bring to you.  If you have made it to this page you are serious about mastiffs.  We use the application to ensure that our little babies only go to people who will care for them as we do.  As we bear the responsibility for creating these wonderful little creatures and the life they will have, we ask a lot of questions.  We have also filled out similar applications to qualify for a puppy so we know what it's like.  So go ahead, fill it out and join our family.  You won't regret it.  We welcome your questions too.

Here is a summary of how the process works.  When you have decided you would like one of our puppies, please complete an application.  When we receive it, we will contact you.  This gives us all a chance to get to know each other and make sure we are all on the same page.  We will check out the references you submitted and answer all of the questions you have for us.  After we find out you are great people and would love to have you be part of our family, we would move to the deposit stage to secure your place in line for the puppy you would like.  When the puppies are around 6-7 weeks, we  give the puppies a personality test to help identify the best fit for your home.  We also look at a pup's conformation to see who should go to show homes for the betterment of the breed and who will make a wonderful family dog for non-show homes.  We do our best to fulfill color and gender requests.  If you are looking, however, for the laid back puppy in a litter we may suggest a different color or gender than you originally requested.  It takes little time to figure out which puppy is the best fit for each family.  Finally after 8 weeks have passed, countless feedings, numerous clean-ups, a vet visit, their 1st vaccinations and micro-chipping, the puppies are ready to meet their lucky parents,.. which will hopefully be you!

Tell us about your family, kids, pets etc. Anything that a mastiff would affect by being in the house.
What do you do for a living?:
Any one in the house allergic to dogs etc. or afraid of dogs?:
What type of housing are you in? Do you rent or own your home? Tell us about your yard the dog will use.:
Do you have other pets? What are they?:
Ever had any pets? Ever had a dog? Ever had a BIG dog?:
Have you ever had to surrender a pet?:
So what are you looking for in a puppy? Boy or a girl? Any color preferences?:
Would you like a show dog or a pet dog?:
Mastiff habits are like most dogs. Just BIGGER. Most dogs do these things. Chewing, digging, snoring, flatulating (mastiffs will drive you out of the room:) ) barking, drooling and all that other stuff. Can you handle these things?:
What would the dogs daily life be like? Does everyone work the same schedule? Are there people home most of the day? When the puppy/dog is alone, how long will that be? Where will they stay? Kennel, or room or?:
Will your mastiff have free roam of the house? Ours do not. No kitchen privileges here. Mastiffs MUST BE INDOOR DOGS! Granted, ours love to be outdoors a lot but they want to be with us most of all:
Whom will be taking care of our little boy/girl?:
Is your family active or laid back or? Mastiffs will adapt to your life style as long as its a nice one. Can you add a mastiff to the mix and make it better? Will you be dragging you dog around with you like we do?:
Training your mastiff is critical because of their size. They have a great temperament however ANY dog no matter what size they are needs to be trained to be polite. Would you want a 200 lb. dog pulling you around? What are your plans for training and socializing. Its one thing to have an ankle biter dog that is cranky because it was not socialized. Its very bad to have a big dog that has bad manners.:
Money. Mastiffs cost more to take care of because of their size. Food, medicines,a vehicle big enough to drag you mastiffs big ol butt around in can be a factor for you. And you do need to be able to put your giant dog in a car. They will fit in a lot of backseats but you might want to measure yours.:
REFERENCES. Would you please furnish us with your vets contact info and with 2 or 3 other people who would talk to us about you. And just to make it fair we will do the same for you if you would like.:
And FINALLY! What makes you want the best breed of dog in the world?:
How did you hear about us?:
